Dustin Roths for Ellis County Commission
Dustin Roths is running for Ellis County Commission in the 2nd District. The primary election will be on August 4th. His platforms are based on business creation, lower tax burdens, and fiscal responsibility.
Dustin’s hope for Ellis County is to create a tax haven for businesses throughout the Midwest. He believes the success of businesses in a community fully reflects the success of that community and therefore subscribes to the idea that a business-accommodating county will substantially increase the standard of living for everyone. The historical successes of communities that desire to attract and maintain businesses are fundamental to his political philosophies of conservatism, growth, and liberty.
Dustin studied marketing at Fort Hays State University. He runs a small business in Downtown Hays and was awarded the Hays Area Chamber of Commerce “Rising Star” award in 2016. Dustin is the past President of the Downtown Hays Development Corporation a Graduate of Leadership Kansas 2019. He prides himself on knowledge of business, economics, entrepreneurship, and the political landscape.
Dustin is a long time conservative and registered Republican since the age of 18. His record on the commission includes balancing budgets and lowering spending. Dustin will strive for smaller tax burdens and less government intervention into everyday lives. He believes there should be great scrutiny on the spending of tax dollars and will occupy his term in office problem-solving ways to save taxpayers money.
